I have been stuck with my work for a while after I have finnished 1st year at Uni. I was quite frustrated that a lot of people I know which are doing photography at Uni or not, achieved something already. Some kind of exhbition features, comission work or other photography based assignments. Even their images were not much better than mine. When my 2nd academic year was about to start, with a little bit of help from my wife I put a lot of pressure on my photography and somehow (I'm still not certain how did it happened) I got myself into 3 exhibitions. Two of them are Photography Student Awards. 'Lighthouse Gallery Photography Student Awards 2009' and Fifth edition of 'Warszawski Festiwal Fotografii Artystycznej' in Warsaw. I didn't win anything but I feel awarded already about my work being featured in some real galleries. 3rd one is made by us (photography students) for the rest of the students on our University. No big deal but it stil exposes my work to people. And it all happened during one month. Wicked!


Suddenly my dA pageviews hitted 10k. It's not much comparing to others but I'm quite happy. What I really like about being a dA member is that you can always contribute and give feedback for someone and recieve the same from someone else. As a lot people know, that system has got some negative issues as well but hey! 10,000 people already seen my profile (and at least one of my images). If one of them remembered it, I'm even twice as happy

I got awarded with Daily Deviation for [link] . I never believed it will ever happen and I still can't believe it actually happened. Especially because that is a photograph from my first attempt of skateboarding (and sports in general) photography.
